We are looking for an experienced practice nurse with proven leadership and Practice Nurse clinical skills. You will be responsible for the development, assessment, and day to day running of nursing team in conjunction with your clinical duties. Summary of Management Duties Allocate, coordinate, monitor and assess the work of the nursing team and individuals. Ensure that the necessary nurse clinics are appropriately staffed and organised. Develop a working environment that promotes healthy, safe and effective work outcomes. Manage the day to day running of the nursing team. Lead the nursing team meetings, Attend monthly meeting with practice manager and senior receptionist Offer and provide clinical supervision to other members of the practice nursing team and act as a clinical ''expert'', referring to other members of the team or GPs as required. Monitor and advise on the effective use of physical and financial resources by the practice nursing team. Recruit and select staff to meet the health and well-being needs of the practice population. Supervise and assess staff performance and development. Perform appraisals with HR manager / GP as appropriate. Mentor, develop and support the nursing team as required. The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse. "}
