The post will provide a high quality assessment service to people who may have a dementia. The post will be located within the Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP) directorate and based at Kirkby in Ashfield in the Young Onset Dementia Service. The successful candidate will be expected to travel to various locations throughout the county of Nottinghamshire to complete assessments. There is a long history of clinical psychology in MHSOP and the department has strong links with the Trent Clinical Psychology training course. The successful applicant will work under the supervision of an experienced Clinical Psychologist. The post holder will work as part of the diagnostic service providing neuropsychological assessments to aid in diagnosis. The post holder should have the ability to travel across the county of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
