Patient Pathway Coordinator for Neurology - Cat 10 No previous candidates need to apply. The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients' pathway of care. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will provide expertise in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly. The post holder will supervise and allocate work to the PPC team when required. The post holder will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer focused and knowledgeable point of contact. To provide a consistent approach across the Trust, using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales. The post holder will be directly responsible for providing a high level of admin support to individual clinicians focused on minimising their admin work load. The post holder will be expected to be proactive in adapting to the needs of the service and be responsive to issues arising. The post holder will be expected to be competent in decision making and be able to prioritise work load appropriately. The post holder will be expected to complete all tasks set within a timely fashion and communicate effectively with the line manager identifying and issues. Varied tasks will include duties such as booking of clinics, processing clinicians correspondence, answering any enquiries from both staff and patients, and doing so in a professional manner up holding all the trust core values.
