The team provides a therapy service to our hyper acute and acute rehabilitation areas. The stroke team are a highly motivated team and provide an excellent quality therapy service working collaboratively with the MDT team and contributing to the ongoing development of the service. You will have responsibility for the supervision and training of rotational band 5 staff, therapy assistants and students. You must have some experience of working in the stroke rehabilitation. Evidence of staff supervision is desirable but not essential. The post is part of an integrated seven day working service therefore a willingness to work in this way is essential. Introduction to the Therapy Department at The Dudley Group on Vimeo This is a senior occupational therapist post requiring significant post graduate experience. The post holder will be responsible for rapid response, advanced assessment & treatment of complex and /or chronic presentations and will provide highly specialist advice for patients within the hospital and community setting and teaching and training to therapy colleagues working in other clinical areas, and members of the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will be responsible for supervision and training of other therapy staff including rotational band 5 staff, Therapy assistants and students.
