Ultrasoundclinics are delivered from the following sites within Eastern Cheshire usingnewly replaced GE ultrasound equipment. Macclesfield Health Hub & East Cheshire Trust Knutsford & District Community Hospital Congleton Memorial Hospital Handforth Clinic The successful applicant will be required to work independentlyacross these sites but also as part of a wider team, healthcare assistants form part of our valued team and support all sessions. We promote effective communication and engagement, meeting regularly for service/clinical updates including peer review audit/feedback. Main duties of the job Working as part of a small but experienced team, you will report directly to the Lead Sonographer. Your remit will be to be independently responsible for carrying out and reporting on non-obstetric ultrasound examinations to a high standard, in line with local and national guidelines. Holding a CASE accredited ultrasound qualification (PgCert, PgDip) you must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom with HCPC/NMC/ equivalent registration. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills and experience in general, gynaecological and superficial/small parts scanning. MSK and/or head and neck experience would also be an advantage.
