An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board as the Palliative and End of Life Care Commissioning Manager. With broad experience of health care commissioning and a commitment to ensuring the delivery of quality services across a system, this role will involve collaborative working with multiple stakeholders in partner organisations, alongside proactively working across the system to support the development and implementation of work streams and projects associated with palliative and end of life care. As part of a dedicated team, the post holder will play a key role in the delivery of the Northamptonshire All Age Palliative and End of Life Care Strategy 2023-2026.This will include the opportunity to engage with both service users and the public. Working collaboratively with the Macmillan Palliative and End of Life Care Transformational Leader, the post holder will possess a keen interest in palliative and end of life care provision to all ages, alongside a passion for quality improvement and service development. The capability to provide input and leadership to relevant procurement processes, strategic service developments and other high-level programmes of work will be integral to this role. The ability to produce and present high quality reports and material for senior level meetings, including ICB committees and other subgroups is essential. The post holder should be educated to master's degree level or possess the equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in an ICB or equivalent NHS organisation and be able to evidence continuing professional development.
