The post involves 7 day working which includes bank holidays. We are able to offer full and part time posts. We would like to hear from any registered nurses and student nurses due to qualify, who have a genuine desire to nurse patients in their place of residence. To assume delegated responsibility for the supervision of the team in the absence of the district nursing sister when required. District Nurse, Amy, Says \"District nursing gave me my happiness back! For many years, I have been a nurse in Emergency care where I learnt many skills but decided in 2020 I needed a change. Applying for district nursing, hand on heart was the best decision I ever made and I will never look back! I now have a work life balance, energy both in work and at home. We have time here in the district to communicate and really get to know our patients which I find is a special attribute to nursing. In the community team work is exceptional and we have great support from management who show a genuine interest in helping with your career progression. In one year I have completed two masters level modules which previously I had never heard of and I am looking forward to where this will lead me in the future. Moving into this area of nursing you will learn multiple new skills to enable you to gain further knowledge and enhance your career progression. We still have a busy caseload of patients but your daily nursing tasks are safe and achievable! There are always new skills to learn, we have a little but great knowledge in all areas of nursing instead of knowledge in one speciality. You come to work smiling and leave smiling!\" Youtube video linked below https://youtu.be/pOWva2tkxBs For further details / informal visits contact: Name: Natalie Davis Job title: Matron Email address: natalie.davis@boltonft.nhs.uk Telephone number: 01204 463414 Joanne Simpson DN team leader 01204 462887 or Matron Natalie Davis natalie.davis@boltonft.nhs.uk "}
