Position: Clinical Nurse Advisor Location: Derby Job Type: Permanent, Full time, on-site at the trust Shift Pattern: 35 hours Monday to Friday The impact you will have As a Clinical Nurse Advisor at Arjo, your role will be central to fostering a collaborative partnership with Royal Derby Hospital, Burton Hospital, and other community hospitals in the area. Working closely with the trusts TVN Team and designated contract contacts, you will offer clinical expertise while ensuring that Arjo's principles remain at the forefront. Your primary objective will be to contribute to the reduction of hospital-acquired pressure ulcers through best practice principles in pressure ulcer prevention and management. Under the guidance of the Regional Contact Manager, you will serve as the main point of contact, providing essential clinical support to the contract. The skills you will need Provide expert advice and guidance on ARJO equipment selection Conduct clinical ward walks to sure equipment usage aligns with patient needs Manage rental equipment and provide comprehensive reporting Conduct pressure ulcer prevalence surveys and contribute to outcome related planning and monitoring. Deliver in-service product training programs Facilitate customer education programs and attend forums and study days Provide added reassurance and a commitment to improving both clinical and cost effectiveness for our contracted partners and their patients Engage with management and cross functional working within all divisions of Arjo and with all external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have or should be willing to work towards the following: Experience of working within a healthcare environment Knowledge and understanding of current NHS & Private Hospital sector dynamics in the UK along with community nursing homes and hospices Must be able to deal with customers confidently in a variety of situations e.g. demonstrations, presentations and ward visits etc. Ability to engage with clients at senior level, assess their operational needs and foster collaboration across both ARJO and the trust Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment Experience in wound care desirable Knowledge of Arjo products will be a distinct advantage Qualifications / Skills: Current NMC registration or other similar Professional Healthcare organisation essential IT: Microsoft Office skills namely Excel, Word and PowerPoint. RGN or similar Professional Healthcare Qualification preferable It is essential to have good written and spoken English. Presentation skills preferable Driving Licence: Required to hold a valid UK drivers licence. Travel: Ability to travel within the UK and abroad with overnight stays as and when required. Enhanced DBS clearance: Required at the cost of Arjo.
