Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are looking for Customer Care Agents to join a well-respected and successful client at Edinburgh Airport. This role is open to applicants who have no previous security experience and a genuine interest in aviation, customer service and security. All necessary training will be fully paid and provided by sector experts including support in obtaining relevant background checks. There is on-site mentoring and clear career pathways leading to specialist management roles within our team, so think big! Start Dates: 4th June 2024 11th June 2024 18th June 2024 25th June 2024 2nd July 2024 Whats on offer: Rate of Pay: £11.44 per hour Full time: 42 hours per week Shift times : 20:00pm to 08:00am (Night Shifts) Location: Edinburgh Airport The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a 4 on 4 off rolling rota. This could be subject to change! Weekly Pay Temp to Perm (performance based) Main duties: Must have full UK driving license as will assist with transporting passengers to the aircraft Being professional, polite and courteous at all times Escorting arriving and departing passengers with restricted mobility (PRM) (along with accompanying family) through the airport in a timely manner, either on foot, by wheelchair or electric buggy/caddy as depicted by their categorisation Providing assistance with the passenger luggage Completing the Daily Equipment Check Sheet, to maintain the operational reliability of the equipment, reporting where necessary, any equipment defects in line with the equipment inspection procedure Ensuring that wheelchairs and buggies are always clean and tidy Ensure that Centralised Control is updated on progress by use of IT handsets Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed legibly and submitted in a timely manner Any additional reasonable duties, as assigned by operational management Requirements: Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence Great work ethic Excellent communication skills Strong Customer Service Self-motivated and willing to work using own initiative Must be able to start as early as 03:00am Full UK Driving licence (desirable) To multitask and remain calm under pressure Previous airport experience is an advantage but not essential UK Settled Status (If applicable) Proof of (current) Address Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic DBS record check following interview in line with CAA requirements PLEASE NOTE : As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
