This includes long and short shifts and patterns to suit your work life balance The main duties of the post are to work in geographical Community Maternity teams, providing antenatal and postnatal care to new families. This includes working from GP surgeries, community centres and community hospitals, running antenatal and postnatal clinics, as well as visiting new families, in their own homes. You will build relationships with your caseload and support safe childbearing outcomes, informed choice and personalised care plans. To achieve this, you will work as part of a MDT team, including GPs, specialist midwives, the home birth team, maternity support workers, and admin staff, as well as clinicians in the obstetric units and standalone birth centre.
