To deliver planned Oncology treatment to patients with malignancies. Being a member of the relevant well-established multi-disciplinary teams. Treatments will be delivered in close co-operation with the current visiting Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Consultants in Clinical Oncology. Working with a team of Clinical and Medical Oncologists from both the Cancer Centre (Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) and our own East Lancashire team. The post holder will providing support to our oncology team which includes a total of 28 clinics per week and two chemotherapy departments (20 sessions per week in total) across ELHT sites. The post holder will be required to provide clinical support in most areas of cancer (all tumour groups except for rare and very complex cancers which are referred to our local Cancer Centre at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trusts).
