We are looking for Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to work within the Accident and Emergency Department. There is no guessing what the day might bring. Every day will be different, busy but never dull. Team working and Lead nurses are an integral part of the Units with all staff enabled and empowered to make a real difference for their patients. The successful candidates at Band 6 will be able to demonstrate that they can manage a dedicated team to deliver nursing care of the highest standards to our patients, while working under pressure. A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in an Emergency Unit setting is essential as is Mentorship Level 3 or the equivalent NH330 and NA371 or equivalent. A qualification in Mental Health nursing would be an advantage. The successful candidates at Band 6 will be able to demonstrate that they can manage a dedicated team to deliver nursing care of the highest standards to our patients, while working under pressure.
