An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Local Service Division for a fixed term contract of 6 months in managing Alt ward. Alt ward is a 17 bedded mixed acute ward at Clock View Hospital. Candidates need to have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills that will enable them to challenge, motivate, influence and inspire their colleagues at all levels, and have an understanding of leading and managing an acute inpatient ward. Applicants need to be RN (MH) qualified/have a professional qualification with demonstrable post qualification experience at Band 6 level or above with inpatient/post registration experience. Shortlisting planned for 12 August 2024 Interview planned for 20 August 2024 You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills that will enable you to challenge, motivate, influence and inspire your colleagues at all levels, and have an understanding of leading and managing a service. You will be expected to demonstrate good clinical assessment skills, positive use de-escalation techniques particularly whilst being able to listen in order to respond to service users need.
