You’ll communicate in a sensitive and compassionate manner with patients, relatives, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team. The service runs 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Shifts will include day shift and night shift rotation and includes Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year. We are Manchester Local Care Organisation (MLCO) - an exciting, public sector organisation that has brought together NHS community health services and social care services in the city. Our teams work as one Multi-Disciplinary approach in the neighbourhoods they serve – delivering and designing services in partnership with local people and importantly work cross organisational boundaries. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses and within Trust guidelines & protocols, you’ll assist in delivering the excellent patient care you would expect for yourself and your loved ones. Your duties will involve supporting patients with personal care needs, and helping them regain their independence. On the job training will be provided Previous community experience is preferred; however, training will be available. On the Job Training Opportunities If you are new to working in healthcare, you’ll be supported to develop yourself through our Support Worker Development Programme for Nursing Assistants.
