The successful candidate will have experience of working with people with severe mental illness across a range of services. The team has a strong emphasis on the Recovery Model, working with service users to maximise their independence and autonomy to improve their quality of life. There is a team approach to ensure service users receive the most appropriate clinical interventions and they will benefit from a truly multidisciplinary team. You will work with a team of experienced practitioners with a strong focus on psychological formulation driven, evidence based interventions. You will receive regular supervision and your personal development priorities will be shared and supported through our appraisal process. The team is a trust wide service covering all five boroughs across the Pennine Care footprint so a driver's license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role. We are currently based at Trust HQ in Ashton Under Lyne although this may be subject to change. Our core hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Main duties of the job To work as part of the multidisciplinary team and provide support on both an individual and group basis to individuals experiencing complex psychosis. To support service users to achieve their full potential through accessing resources within their wider communities and equipping them with the skills and confidence to enable them to manage their lives independently. The role will involve delivery of therapeutic recovery focussed and community activities, and individualised treatment plans under the guidance of registered practitioners within the team.
