Hospital experience is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will be required to complete a Trust induction course, which will include all the trust statutory/mandatory training to join our team. You will need to be motivated and committed to high standards of patient care. We will provide a supportive atmosphere, mentorship and clinical supervision on the ward and are committed to professional development of all staff. Team working is an integral part of the ward with all staff enabled and empowered to make real difference for their patients. The Clinical Support Worker (Band 3) is a member of the care team who provides: Personal care or chaperone duties Supporting patients with bathing, toileting, dressing and meals Records patient information A range of delegated clinical care duties Undertakes and records patients’ vital signs Escalate any concerns in observation or change in patient’s condition Support and supervision of Band 2 clinical support workers Enhanced observations Patient escort role A wide range of staff benefits are available to our staff including staff development, enrolment in the NHS pension scheme, auto-enrolment to our Temporary Workforce Service, access to nurseries at Conquest Hospital and Eastbourne District General Hospital, staff restaurants and on-site staff accommodation.
