Were looking forward to hearing from you! To work in one of the dedicated pool porter posts in the porters' roster, providing a comprehensive hospital portering service. This role will require the applicant to work with adults and children within an NHS Hospital. Every shift the applicant works will include regular contact with adults and children and/or working within a close proximity of vulnerable adults and children. The child patients will be under the age of 16 years old. The applicant's activities will include; NHS portering duties transporting adult and child patients within the hospital and at times being alone with the patient. Collecting confidential information as well as specimens, medical equipment, blood products and at times driving the MFT trust vehicles. Full UK driving license is a must for the role Move patients by bed, trolley and wheelchair as directed by department staff in accordance with agreed procedures.Move case request forms, specimens, medicines, equipment, furniture and other itemsbetween wards and departments in line with agreed procedures.Respond to non-scheduled task instructions from the Helpdesk via the handheld device. Ensure non-scheduled task response and completion times are recorded on the handheld device. Report any issues with or delays to the task so that a full audit trail is maintained. "}
