GLOUCESTER and FOREST OF DEAN ASSERTIVE OUTREACH TEAM Social Worker Band 5/6 progression post This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Social Worker to gain experience working with a busy but dynamic Assertive Outreach team. The Gloucester and Forest of Dean Assertive Outreach Team provides comprehensive mental health and social care to working age adults in the Gloucester locality and the Forest of Dean. We are seeking a motivated and innovative individual to join this enthusiastic, progressive and dynamic multi-disciplinary team. We can offer an opportunity to develop your skills and experience and to contribute to the development of a high quality service. The team provides a planned needs lead 8am-8pm seven days a week service (reduced hours at weekend). Our core working hours at Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and 9am - 1pm weekends and Bank holidays. The hours are 37.5 per week with some evenings and weekend shifts (on a rotational shift system). 'Flexible' working arrangements will be considered. Any request will be set against genuine operational requirements and limitations and it is not obligatory for a manager to accede to the request.
