A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD AND BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER AT THE PRINCIPAL YORK What you'll be doing... Reporting to the Head of Food and Beverage, you can expect your working day to include: Assisting in creating a wawrm and welcoming environment Ensuring that all guests' requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively. Setting up the Refectory Restaurant and Garden Room for service. Helping in Breakfast Service, Afternoon Tea Service, and Dinner Service Serving guests light refreshments Taking food and drink orders and serve to guests at their table throughout the venue Maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues - we are enthusiatic, authentic bunch of people who truly care about teamwork and great service. What We Need From You We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements... To succeed in the role of Food and Beverage Team Member, you will need the following qualities and skills To be passionate about delivering great service and creating memorable moments! Previous experience with hotels is advantageous but not essential To be willing to learn new things and work as part of the wider hotel team. Flexible - you could be working in our Restaurant, Garden Room abd Bar on a variety of evenings, days and weekends.
