We would like to recruit a ward housekeeper who is willing to be part of our team and who takes pride in their work. As a multi-disciplinary team, we all work to the trust values and the same would be expected of you. You will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the ward, for maintaining safe and appropriate stock levels and for ordering equipment. We would expect a good working relationship between the housekeeper and nursing team to ensure smooth working for everyone. You will also be responsible for cleanliness of the ward, for participating in weekly walk rounds and for escalating problems to the nurse in charge. You may also be asked to cross cover for other housekeepers within the division. This vacancy has been advertised in accordance with the new NHS pay rate which will take effect from autumn 2024. Please note if your employment starts before the 24/25 pay scales are implemented you will be paid under the 23/24 pay scales and any backpay will be adjusted accordingly.
