You will deal with patients, healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone and face to face. The post holder will be a motivated and enthusiastic person who will have the necessary skills to support and monitor our partners, AMEY who deliver the estates and cleaning contract within the prisons, ensuring the department is maintained to appropriate standards for the delivery of healthcare services. The post holder will provide effective support, share knowledge, skills and expertise with healthcare and AMEY staff in providing clean safe environments for patients, visitors and colleagues in line with HMPPS cleaning and estates contracts. You will require the appropriate people, co-ordination, communication and collaborative skills to undertake this task effectively. The post holder may need to work flexibly to respond to the needs of the service and the department, which operates on multiple sites on a 7 day a week, 365 days a year basis. The post holder will require knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH and Infection Prevention strategies, relating to standards of hospital cleanliness such as Personal Protective Equipment and Colour Coding and Moving and Handling.
