The Medical Directorate has a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, enthusiastic and forward thinking leader to join our nursing team in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd's Renal Unit. The Unit manager is responsible for a defined group of staff and patients, in designated geographical area, and has a continuing 24-hour responsibility for provision of haemodialysis services where necessary via an on call system outside unit hours. The unit manager will also be responsible for co-ordinating and participating in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients with chronic and acute renal failure requiring renal replacement therapy. We are delighted to offer the opportunity to come and join our medical division here in Glan Clwyd Hospital as the unit manager. We need an experienced, highly motivated experienced senior nurse who can support and manage the renal unit. As a unit manager you will lead the team to provide the best possible care for our patients ensuring they follow the most appropriate pathway for their journey through our services.The job is challenging and rewarding in equal measure, and you will require resilience, determination and the ability to seek new and improved ways of working.
