Job Profile As the Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist you will be responsible for performing advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions. You will provide a diagnosis, develop, and deliver an individualised treatment plan. You will be expected to utilise clinical and organisational skills to meet the needs of both patients and The Clinic. Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8am-8pm. Job Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW (close to Regents Park/Baker St tube stations) Salary: A competitive inclusive salary range of £44,252 - £54,077 per annum. Key Duties To operate with a busy caseload of outpatients alongside managing patient related and professional activities. To undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients including those with diverse or complex presentations/multi-pathologies. To use advanced clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide an accurate diagnosis of their condition. To demonstrate theoretical knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and awareness of the biopsychosocial model when determining clinical diagnosis and prognosis, resulting in patient centred goals and treatment plan in line with evidence-based practice. Work within clinical guidelines and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy guidelines and to have a good working knowledge of national and local standards and monitor own and others quality of practice as appropriate. Work effectively with those patients whose first language is not English using a range of verbal and non-verbal communication tools, while taking into consideration diversity issues in particular differing cultural awareness. Skills & Experience Proven experience of working as a Band 6 physiotherapist in musculoskeletal outpatients with experience in all core area; with a thorough understanding of various Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic conditions. Proven experience of working with a varied Musculoskeletal caseload. Experience of quality issues and audit. Postgraduate study and experience in Aquatic Therapy desirable. Able to demonstrate high levels of communications skills to coach, mediate, negotiate, present and train. Good IT skills; including exercise prescription, diary system management and Excel.
