East Hill Surgery has a fantastic opportunity for experienced primary healthcare assistant to join the practice, to support the nursing team, on a part-time basis, with days/times to be discussed at interview. Working under the direct supervision of the senior practice nurse, and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, you will assist the clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care. If you are a qualified and experienced healthcare assistant looking for a fresh and exciting challenge, we would love to hear from you. Undertaking health checks, new patient and senior patients checks. Supporting the GPs e.g. assisting with coil and implant insertion and removal and assisting with minor ops. Supporting the Nursing team with health promotion programmes. Phlebotomy BPs including facilitation 24hr BP monitoring Dressings and wound care. Suture/clip removal. Diabetic YOC. Supporting the nursing team with chronic disease clinics. VitB12 injections. Administering flu vaccinations. ECGs Stock control in clinical rooms and ordering. Monitoring fridge temps and cleaning. Assisting with clinical waste in line with Infection Control Policy. Undertaking other clinical activities identified by the nursing or management team in line with agreed protocols. "}
