This role involves working closely with our regional multi-professional Cystic Fibrosis (CF) team and is supported by a Clinical Specialist in Cystic Fibrosis. Your clinical remit would involve the treatment of both acute inpatients and outpatients attending our multi-professional Cystic fibrosis clinics and working in the community. Attendance at regional meetings may also be required. What were looking forThe post holder will be expected to lead the therapy team in the absence of the Band 8/7s, be involved in the teaching programme, service development, student supervision and the development of Band 3-5 therapy staff. All staff are expected to work flexibly to support a 7-day service. The post holder will be expected to engage in research as appropriate, as well as regular clinical audits, and maintain skills and knowledge to implement evidence-based practice. HCPC registered. Evidence of experience using specialist respiratory equipment, such as invasive and non- invasive ventilators, and cough assist. Evidence of experience doing shifts within an acute respiratory on-call out of hours service - including intensive care, both adults and children. Experience as a student supervisor.
