In return we provide a range of in-service training in order to develop your skills within the role. Maintain a professional behaviour at all times and promote a positive image of Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust at all times, in line with World Class Care values. Perform the clinical duties informing the midwife of the results and recording these appropriately on the electronic records system ( Full training will be given on the trust systems ) Assist in orientating patients and visitors to the ward environment. Must be trained in venepuncture Giving information to women and their families regarding their care, directing queries to professional staff as appropriate in a sensitive manner. Acting as a chaperone to the midwives/doctors as requested. Additional clinical duties may be delegated to the Maternity Assistant as appropriate, following discussion and in-service training. Act in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in England.
