To successful post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management, leadership and development the day service which is an integrated, flexible, user-focused and recovery-orientated CAMHS service. They will deliver a safe, effective, and high-quality service to a small caseload of service users to ensure delivery to the relevant clinical pathways as outlined within operational procedure and wider system pathways. The CAMHS Day Service Manager will provide leadership and Operational Management to a clinical area, ensuring the provision of quality nursing care to all service users within the unit. The role will involve providing clinical and managerial supervision to the team to oversee assessment, interventions, triggering and supporting safeguarding, skills development and other psychosocial interventions, including carer support, family intervention and education. You will be expected to demonstrate leadership skills to develop the service and work with all stakeholders to reach outcomes and strategic targets. On appointment, you will be a member of an integrated team and will receive professional, clinical supervision and have access to a range of training and development opportunities. Undertake overall responsibility for the management of The Day Service Manage the workload of the The Day Service, ensuring that appropriate systems are in place from admission to discharge. Triaging referrals and prioritising admissions. Development of robust Care Planning to ensure User, Carer and staff are adequately supported Ensure that staff are compliant with relevant legislation and statutory guidance. Ensure that staff are compliant with Trust policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. To develop and maintain strong working relationships with external professionals such as Core CAMHS, Crisis Care Pathway, Inpatient CAMHS, GMAC and where possible avoid hospital admission. To attend a range of Directorate, Trust and Local Authority meetings and play an active role in the development of local services. Participate in Bronze on call rota as required Act up as required.
