This role is essential to providing safe care to our patients by ensuring that medical records are in the right place at the right time for patients to be treated and then returned to the correct storage location. This role is a senior member of the team, providing leadership and guidance to our clerical officers and apprentices. The role will be key to helping us achieve our targets. We have positions in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Audiology. The post requires an efficient, caring and proactive individual with an appreciation and understanding of the confidential nature of the work. Applicants should be able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, be excellent communicators with good telephone skills and have the ability to meet deadlines on a daily basis whilst maintaining a positive approach, and providing a quality service that supports our patient care. This role provides a great insight into the NHS and requires excellent inter-personal skills when communicating with patients and members of staff at all levels within the Trust.
