As the Assistant Health Club Manager for the hotel, you support the Manager with developing all aspects of the health club business. Providing a clear vision on the direction for the business area, ensuring the quality of service is provided to customers. Depending on the hotel, your area of responsibility will include one or more of the following:- swimming pools, sauna, steam room, locker rooms, gym, class studios, racket sports, spas, health club & spa reception, relaxation rooms, food & beverage outlet and plantrooms. What will I do? Deputising for the Manager in their absence, you'll work with the General Manager, you will develop, maintain & administer a business plan for the health club including budgets and marketing. Identifying opportunities to maximise the use of the leisure facilities Provide ongoing support & training to your team Ensure staff are fully qualified for certain areas of the business area Care and maintenance of the facilities to ensure an exceptional high standard of presentation & cleanliness Build and maintain strong working relationships with head of departments, senior management and the wider business Health & safety is always being followed & adhered to Is this the role for me? Previous experience in a leisure / helath club capacity within a hotel environment would be distinct advantage Must have experience within a leisure environment Relevant qualifications Strong people management Passionate about providing an outstanding service to customers KPI and target driven Ability to multi-task Able to think outside the box and have ideas on how to maximise opportunities Why The QHotels Collection?
