Main duties of the job In this pivotal role, you'll play a leading role in: Shaping the future of clinical coding at WHTH: You'll develop and implement a robust quality assurance strategy, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of coded data that underpins vital healthcare funding and national benchmarking. Empowering your team: Provide mentorship and training to our team of clinical coders, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning. Becoming a coding authority: Conduct regular audits and trainings in line with the latest guidelines, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions. Championing collaboration: Work closely with clinical and finance colleagues to ensure our coding practices are efficient and support high-quality patient care.
