If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Dietetic Support Worker based within the dynamic Dietetic Prescribing Support team. The post holder will be involved in the review of patients with malnutrition within their own homes and care homes both in person and virtually. The post holder will also provide education to care home staff on the identification and management of malnutrition. In addition to seeing patients, the post holder will be required to maintain electronic patient records, data collection and undertake some administrative duties to support the team. The friendly and supportive dietitians within the team will delegate work and provide training and supervision to the post holder. You should have education in a health related subject to HNC or SVQ level 3 and experience working in a health/care environment alongside excellent communication and organisational skills.
