Do you have awareness and/or experience of the NHS England antenatal and newborn hearing screening requirements as well as the UK National Screening Committee and Public Health England best practice recommendations? We deliver care across a large geographical footprint, encompassing some of the UK's most varied and beautiful areas. You would join a dedicated small team of coordinators, contributing to leadership, education, monitoring and service governance alongside the compassionate and sensitive support our women and families need. Whilst challenging, this role allows the midwife to deliver exceptional care to our population whilst ensuring the strategic and operational Public Health England and UK National Screening committee requirements are maintained. It is therefore a satisfying mix of clinical and non-clinical work that will use your advanced skills in communication, prioritisation and collaboration. You will need to hold Registered Midwife status plus PIN with the NMC If you are currently employed by the Trust and you wish to apply for this role on a secondment basis, please seek permission from your current line manager before applying for the post Examples Include And Are Not Limited To Contributes to implementation and development of antenatal and new-born screening programmes consistent with new national standards, guidance and research. Supports women, families and staff involved in the delivery of the screening pathways, actively involved in audit and governance the service. Contributes to and creates reports for national programme data collection, responding to trends, clusters, identified training needs and adapting the service in line with national recommendations. Provides information and choices to women and families with compassion, respect, dignity and with a dedication of informed choice, using exemplar communication skills, mindful of barriers, challenges and the emotive nature of the service.
