In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring that customers receive top-quality care and support in the comfort of their own homes. Your exceptional organisational and communication skills will be key in effectively coordinating our care assistants. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate care assistants to ensure timely and safe delivery of care to customers. Manage customer referrals and process changes to care needs. Schedule care assistants according to customer preferences and availability. Arrange cover for staff absences and holidays. Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of customer information. Liaise with other health and social care professionals to deliver high-quality homecare services. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times. Requirements: Experience in domiciliary care for at least 2 years. Coordinating experience is preferred. Role Specification: Essential Criteria: Compassionate and caring attitude towards those in need of support. Excellent time management skills and reliability. Strong problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking. Team player with excellent communication skills. Understanding of care needs and good organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow reporting procedures. Good administrative skills with attention to detail. Clear communication skills and ability to build positive relationships. Knowledge of the local area and ability to work flexibly. Additional Requirements: Valid driving license with fewer than 6 points, Class 1 business insurance, and current MOT if using own car for business purposes. Satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), formerly known as the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).
