This is a unique opportunity for an inspirational and innovative Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust (BWC). As a key member of the Trust board, Executive Team and Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care System, you will lead our exceptional clinical and professional community providing exceptional care in the only specialist Trust of its kind in the NHS. As CMO you will lead the development of our medical strategy through inclusive and compassionate leadership that actively engages our Trust's multi-professional workforce including; medical, dental, pharmacy, scientific and senior clinical leaders. You will be passionate about living our values of being ambitious, brave and compassionate. We are seeking a credible and strategic medical leader who is a visible champion for tackling and reducing health inequalities for children, women and young people. We are in the implementation phase of our new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme, Taurus, so this is a great time to join us in embracing digital transformation and modernising the way we deliver care to our patients and communities. A role model for excellence in clinical practice and multi-disciplinary working, our CMO will be passionate about medical education and leadership and have a keen interest in supporting research, drawing on examples from all over the NHS and the world.
