Full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can work effectively using their own initiative with the ability to transcribe complex digital dictation, as well as being part of a team The successful candidate will posses GCSE English Language, Grade C or above, or equivalent. They must also possess excellent typing skills or RSA II level qualification as well as previous clerical/administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or customer based setting. Based at York Hospital, duties will mainly include the audio typing of outpatient/admin letters and dealing with any subsequent instruction as indicated by the dictation. Audio typing of outpatient clinic, discharge and general administrative letters. Filing, photocopying and other administrative tasks as necessary. Provide typing and administrative support to the medical secretary team as requires. Respond in a professional and sensitive manner when dealing with confidential issues.
