The shift pattern is Continental Shift Pattern / Long Day Shift Pattern / Night Shift Pattern An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services for Health Care Support Worker’s to work within In-Patient Services on a permanent basis. Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team on a daily basis, post holders will have the opportunity to be involved in the delivery of high quality, patient-centered care for individuals requiring care and treatment for alcohol and substance use. Applicants must be able to fulfil the main duties and responsibilities as outlined within the job description. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential as well as good time management. Applicants must show motivation and a desire to work within an inpatient hospital environment with the ability to provide high quality, person-centered and compassionate care at all times. NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
