If you possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, good communication skills and IT skills have the ability to work within the team of staff and have a specialist interest in developing the service we provide then please apply. Discharge Lounge is part of Complex Discharge Team. The aim of this post is to provide direct patient care and enhance the well-being of patients by developing specific clinical competencies and enhancing knowledge through a lifelong learning approach. As a member of our Nursing team you will be required to provide skilled and flexible support to staff and patients within the Discharge Lounge. You will be required to ensure that the patients waiting for discharge are cared for in a safe and comfortable environment. In addition the staff nurse is proactive in monitoring and anticipating patients’ needs. This will entail the provision of care, liaison with wards and other agencies such as transport, pharmacy, Bed Managers and Site Managers.
