You will be handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Prior administrative experience is essential, although training will be provided. We are seeking a Medical Administrator/ Secretary to join our team. The successful candidate will join an existing team of 4 people. The team are responsible for undertaking a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary team. We are specifically looking for someone to work Fridays. We can be flexible with start and finish times. Duties can include, but are not limited to, the processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers in accordance with current policies, including the use of the electronic referral service (ERS). Candidates will require good IT skills, accurate typing and attention to detail. The role involves regular communication with healthcare professionals and the public so being comfortable communicating by phone, email and letter are important. "}
