Based at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, we are looking for a dedicated Service Coordinator to provide essential administrative support to the clinical and medical teams in the Inherited Bleeding Disorders and Inherited Metabolic Diseases services at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. The post holder will need to meet tight deadlines, collate data and maintain high standards relating to administrative processes. They will need to be able to work within a team effectively and efficiently, and will be required to share sensitive information with clinical teams and managers on a daily basis. The Service Coordinator is the central point of contact for the service and provides information for patients, including coordinating incoming referrals to the service. The post holder will be required to update and manage the electronic databases with patient information and sending clinic letters to patients and referring clinicians. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills and IT ability. The post holder must be able to use their own initiative and also work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team.
