What will the role look like? The Family Plus team work within Forward Leeds supporting families of service users engaged within treatment for issues around drugs and alcohol. The team engage on a preventative and early help model, engaging with families whose requirements are below the child protection threshold. The purpose of the engagement is to improve the functioning of the family and assist in getting available support to maintain changes. The team consists of family plus workers based across each of the three Forward Leeds sites, an emotional health and wellbeing worker who works exclusively with the children of the families a senior worker and a Team Manager. What we are looking for? We are looking for someone with experience in providing intensive case support for families with children of any age to support the family in care planning achieving recovery and ensuring that children are safeguarded at all times.
