Following orientation and completion of relevant competencies, you will have the opportunity to access university-based post-graduate courses or stand alone courses as part of our investment in our staff. Closing Date: 25th August 2024 Interview Date: 2nd September 2024 Princess Alexandra Ward is a 35 bedded surgical ward, delivering high quality care to patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgery, in a level 1 ward environment. The post holder will work under the supervision of the ward manager and multi-disciplinary team members in monitoring and maintaining excellent standards of nursing care and staff development. To be responsible for the continuing professional development and overall performance of student nurses and unqualified staff on the ward. The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care with provisions of preceptorship/mentorship.
