The applicant must be a Registered Nurse, be confident and competent in a wide range of clinical skills and demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development. There is a requirement for a flexible approach to work and an ability to travel between sites in a timely manner. There are multiple demands in this exciting role due to the challenging nature of providing care for patients outside of the hospital environment. The post-holder will however find themselves well supported by a very friendly and enthusiastic team of staff. The post is based with the Overnight District Nursing Team who operate from Ysbyty Cwm Cynon and Glanrhyd Hospital providing care to patients across the footprint of Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB. Staff will primarily be based from Ysbyty Cwm Cynon but will be required to operate from Glanrhyd hospital according to service need.
