They will investigate, manage and treat sexually transmitted infections. They will be involved in the assessment of young people with sexual health needs and management of patients referred from the Sexual Assault Referral Centre. They will also review clinical results in the department and act on abnormal results of investigations, arranging appropriate referrals as required. There is an expectation that the post-holder will follow departmental protocols and work in line with the Clinical Governing Body and Trust standards guidelines. Leadership and Management: The line management responsibility of the post-holder will be to the Unity Clinical lead. UHBristol and Weston is a teaching Trust and the Consultant will teach medical students as part of the commitment of their Division to undergraduate education.
