Our dynamic dental team seeks enthusiastic and flexible professionals with excellent communication skills to join us on a full- or part-time basis, to provide routine clinical care for those who require special dental care. Working in newly-refurbished and fully-equipped, multi-surgery clinics, you will be supported by the Specialist in Special Care Dentistry and other senior clinicians, and work closely with a team of dental therapists. The post holder will be expected to provide comprehensive clinical care to adult and paediatric patients who meet the criteria to access special care dentistry that cannot be met in the General Dental Service. This will include the use of different modalities such as inhalation sedation, general anaesthetic, local anaesthetic, behaviour modification and treatment which may need to be carried out in different locations such as domiciliary and hospital settings. We are happy to consider part time and flexible working, with ideally a minimum of three days. The post holder must be able to travel and work at different sites to meet the needs of the service. We have in excess of 5000 staff working over 50 sites, providing a diverse range of services.
