We are looking for a motivated enthusiastic individual to work alongside our Infant Feeding Co-ordinator to support women wishing to breast feed their babies from the antenatal period and after birth. TLCO has been fully accredited with the UNICEF Baby Friendly Award and prides itself on the support offered to women wishing to breastfeed their babies. Experience of working in a community setting in primary care is essential to support women in both individual and group settings. You must be able to work in partnership with other healthcare professionals and to have experience in supporting mothers with breastfeeding. Applications are welcome from experienced Nursery Nurses who are pro-active and enthusiastic with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Post holders need to work flexibly and be committed to working innovatively with other children services colleagues. You must have good communication skills, the ability to work using own initiative and be computer literate. Due to the nature of the role applicants must be able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
