The successful candidate will be a team leader, providing clinical leadership and management support, developing and evaluating best practice within the department. You will support the Ward Manager and your colleagues to achieve a high standard of patient care and take charge of the ward on a regular basis. We will also look to you to act as a role model in supporting and developing junior members of the team. The applicant must be competent in the assessment and delivery ward based care. This role requires, weekend, night, bank holiday working. We are looking for a individuals with strong core clinical and leadership experience who can demonstrate working within the Multi-professional practice and can drive our ambitious vision to do things differently for our patients, challenge current processes for service improvement and support our teams to transform how we deliver care. Accountable for own actions in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct. Contribute to corporate objectives, acting within local, Trust and statutory guidelines and policies at all times. Effectively communicate information regarding clinical decisions, policy and care pathways to patients/carers and the multi-professional team including situations where difficulties in comprehension occur. A skilled practitioner and clinical leader providing support to the management team, participating in service/policy development. Responsible for clinical assessment of a group of patients, ensuring appropriate care is planned, implemented and evaluated. Organisation of cross-departmental/organisational activities including HR, resource and bleep-holder responsibilities as appropriate.
