The successful candidate will be a team leader, providing clinical leadership and management support, developing and evaluating best practice within the department. Effectively communicate information regarding clinical decisions, policy and care pathways to patients/carers and the multi-professional team including situations where difficulties in comprehension occur. A skilled practitioner and clinical leader providing support to the management team, participating in service/policy development. Responsible for clinical assessment of a group of patients, ensuring appropriate care is planned, implemented and evaluated. Organisation of cross-departmental/organisational activities including HR, resource and bleep-holder responsibilities as appropriate.
