You will have extensive, current experience in a level 2/3 Critical Care environment and will have completed a post graduate Critical Care Course with evidence of clinical competency at a minimum of Band 6 seniority. We are looking for an individual with excellent leadership and communication skills who are able to demonstrate a proactive, collaborative and innovative approach to the clinical environment. It is expected that you can provide clear evidence of patient-centred teaching and quality improvement. The successful candidate will support educational needs of a team of 150 critical care staff nurses. The successful candidate will be an expert clinical practitioner whose primary objective is to educate health care staff. To provide extensive clinical advice and support to enhance the knowledge base and practical skills of staff who are caring for seriously ill adult patients and patients at risk of critical illness. To be a valuable member of the Multi-disciplinary Critical Care team endorsing the objectives of the team. Our Department facilitates 26 Adult beds (Level 2 and Level 3) and prides itself on being a friendly, cohesive and inclusive team supported by outstanding multidisciplinary staff.
