PHARMACY DEPARTMENT PHARMACY SUPPORT WORKER – HIGHER LEVEL NHS Lothian covers Edinburgh city, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within the pharmacy dispensary team as a Pharmacy Support Worker (PSW) As a PSW within hospital services you will be part of a well-established team delivering high quality pharmaceutical care to patients, playing a key role in medicine management activities in the Dispensary to ensure patients receive their medicines in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be educated to SCQF Level 6 with completion of an in-house competency-based Group Award accredited via Edinburgh College within 12 months of commencing the post. Relevant work experience in a healthcare or pharmacy environment is desirable but not essential. The post holder will also undergo a training programme to demonstrate competency for role. The successful candidate will have an enthusiasm for learning and development, a professional attitude, and a passion for working in healthcare with the potential to contribute to the delivery of our high-quality pharmaceutical care.
