This is a substantive post and a new role in our service. As such we are looking for someone with patient facing experience and exceptional communication and organisational skills. You will be a key instigator in the role’s development and will need to be able to work flexibly within an evolving remit within the MSK team and wider Trust Rehabilitation Services. You will be working 1:1 with patients, enabling them to engage with our service. You will be working with our teams to make our services more accessible to patients especially those at risk of health inequalities. You will be part of the patient engagement team, developing our service in response to patient feedback. The role requires excellent communication, organisational and ICT skills, as well as the ability to remain calm, professional and enjoy working as part of a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team. You will need to be able to communicate confidently and empathetically with patients who may have additional social needs and link with clinical teams, administrative teams, the VCSE and Social Prescribing Services. The successful candidate will need to have an understanding of personalised care and an enthusiasm to learn.
