We are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join the team of compassionate, inclusive and committed professionals. The Staff Mental Health Hub service provides a range of psychological support to individuals across all staff groups and organisations. Colleagues have rapid access to specialist individual psychological assessment which can lead to advice, consultation, and either brief interventions or onward referral where appropriate. In the post of Assistant Psychologist, you will work closely and under the supervision of Clinical Psychologists to support the clinical work of the service. You will be required to efficiently support service users to access the service by providing a first contact in order to triage and screen for risk issues. Furthermore, you will have opportunities to support psychoeducation workshops and service promotion activities. You will contribute to the improvement of the service by developing materials and up to date resources to support users of the service. You will be responsible for the implementation of the on-going service evaluation, including data collection, service user experience survey, qualitative and quantitative research. You will support the activity reporting for the service. Applicants should have good communication & organisational skills and an ability to work in a collaborative and professional manner in a highly confidential service.
